Bottom house
Located at the bottom of the property’s driveway, the main residence is a sandstone-clad 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom pavilion-style home with spacious bedrooms sprawled across 3 levels.
The property is also home to a 15m pool (not heated), wood-fired pizza oven and a fire pit, all surrounded by expansive manicured lawns
Take in the stunning outdoor views in the home’s combined living, dining and kitchen space, which is equipped with sliding doors that frame the pool area against the backdrop of the lush hillside.
The living area comes equipped with a Smart TV, ceiling fan and a fireplace - perfect for enjoying a night in. The home’s kitchen is also equipped with a double-door fridge, plus an impressive gas cooktop and oven. There’s also a BBQ available on the verandah, where you can drink in the gorgeous greenery around you.
Top house
Tucked away among a shade of palm trees, 120m from the main house, is the estate’s top house - a uniquely designed 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage-style home.
The top house includes a pleasant outdoor area that includes a stone-built fire pit, dining table and a saltwater pool (not heated) - making it a perfect place for entertaining.
After a long day of swimming and exploring, retreat to the home’s sleeping areas spread across the 3 separate cottages - including the air-conditioned main bedroom that opens to the verandah, an open-plan loft bedroom in the main house, and a dorm-style wing setup with 2 quaint bedrooms and a gorgeous shared bathroom with a bathtub.
Inside, the home has a cosy lounge room with air-conditioning, fireplace and sliding doors that overlook the expansive pool area. The top house includes a fully equipped kitchen that features a gas stovetop and electric oven.
Please note, a small dam is located on the grounds of Tallowood House and children must be supervised at all times.

Pets are welcome at this property but must abide by our terms and conditions. Please advise us at the time of booking or prior to arrival if you are bringing a pet with you.
Parking
Tallowood House offers parking for up to 8 vehicles. The top house provides covered parking for 2 cars, plus non-covered parking for an additional 2 vehicles. The bottom residence’s driveway also has a non-covered parking for 4 cars. Please note, the property’s garage is not accessible to guests.
Location
Tallowood House is situated in the gorgeous hinterland hamlet of Possum Creek, a short drive from the villages of Banglow (7km) and Federal (13km). Byron Bay is also close by - a scenic 14km journey to the town centre, where endless shopping, dining and entertainment options await.

- Group restrictions - maximum of 8 adults at the property unless otherwise approved directly with A Perfect Stay/Byron Bay Holiday Rentals.
- Strict noise policy and no parties permitted - fees and eviction can apply for security call-outs. See terms and conditions for further information.
- No commercial activities or events permitted including but not limited to hens/bucks events, engagements or weddings.
- Intimate events, photo/video shoots may be arranged directly with A Perfect Stay/Byron Bay Holiday Rentals. Additional fees and T&C’s apply.
- No schoolies permitted.
- No smoking inside the property.
- If dates include both Christmas Day and New Year's Eve a 12-night min stay applies, unless otherwise approved directly with A Perfect Stay/Byron Bay Holiday Rentals.
- We reserve the right to cancel any bookings made that do not comply with these conditions. Breaches of these conditions during your stay may result in immediate termination without refund of the licence fee or bond.
- A deposit of 50% of the total licence fee (including booking, marketing, cleaning, linen, and credit card fees) is required at time of booking. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made within 30 days of arrival, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
- Bond of $1000 will be processed 1-3 days prior to arrival.
