Accessed via a bush road bordered by rainforest, Broken Head is made up of 98 hectares of nature reserve which stretches over the tall headland, with stunning panoramic views.
The Broken Head Nature Reserve is jointly managed with the traditional custodians of this land, the Arakwal people and is the home of the legendary Three Sisters Rock - the rocky outcrop featured in the Bundjalung people’s cautionary dreamtime tale.
Picturesque, peaceful and unspoilt, the Broken Head coastline boasts a collection of secluded bays and coves, accessible only by foot.
The beach here is wide, inviting and framed by the National Park, meaning the waters are protected and family-friendly.

Three Sisters Walking Track
Walk 1.3kms through the most spectacular rainforest along the Three Sisters walking track and see the rocks made famous by the Indigenous tale of three sisters. In winter, this is also the point from where you might spot whales on their annual migration.
