Situated just minutes south of Byron Bay, NSW, this magnificent new home is a series of three pavilions that are open to nature but completely private. Connected by private landscaped gardens and huge sun-decks, finished off with a stunning pool area and day-beds, this house is a five star resort that is all yours. You'll hear the surf at night from your bed, and the beach is a stone's throw over a private track through the sand dunes. 


the new pool  is finished on the inside with black Quatzon and is in two levels. One is a shallow infinity edge for toddlers and reclining adults that acts like a mirror to the forest, and has along one side reading bays cut into the steps (patent pending). This spills down to a 20 metre lap pool. Around the pools the deck is golden sandstone. 


The result is a blend of internal and external spaces that merge peacefully with the native vegetation and the sounds of the surf. "Barefoot" feels like an exclusive Balinese resort, but is nestled in an Australian rainforest with a private track over the sand dunes to one of the world's top 100 rated right-hand point breaks.

All the pavilions have their own climate controls and every room has inbuilt stereo/I Pod inputs that can be piped to all the other parts of the home. 

There are three bedrooms each in a separate pavilion so there is perfect separation should three couples choose to occupy the home. Each of the two main bedrooms has a king-size double bed, a single and a double daybed under nets on the verandah. 


The home is beautifully furnished, with indoor and outdoor dining for eight, a huge plush 6m long couch, and a backyard perfect for children and dogs. 

Three bikes are provided for the beautiful low tide cycle to the lighthouse, or take out one of the four surfboards which are from 5 foot to 8 foot long 

Just 20 minutes from Ballina airport, this is Byron Shire living without the bustle.
